In 2005, while a computer science student at Southern University, I sold fashion clothing that I would buy from online wholesalers.

I needed an e-commerce website designed for my store (The Best Dressed) so I called around for pricing and found that the lowest website cost for a professionally designed site was $1500.

The quotes  were not out of my range but around the same time, I was awarded a scholarship to study abroad and I didn’t want to shed that much cash before the trip.

So I decided I would read every web design book that I could get my hands on and watch video tutorials on website and graph design.  And after a while, friends were asking me to do websites for them.

At that time, I knew I had a new business, so I closed the  clothing store and Creative Web Spot was born.
